Early Portaflex XY Series Multi-Pin Connector Socket
In the early days of the Ampeg Portaflex series, certain models like the B-12XY and B-15XY used unique multi-pin connectors. These served not only to link the speaker cabinet to the amp head but also to enable features such as the "safety valve" standby cutoff and optional internal reverb speaker connections.
